Ford has launched its 2012 Ford Fusion in New York’s Time Squares and other cities across the nation by teaming up with some guy named Ryan Seacrest 😉 to spread the word about its 47 miles per gallon fuel economy figure.
Auto industry observers believe that the launch of the Fusion will be Ford’s most important for 12 months. The success of its Fusion will go a long way to determining just how effectively Ford can compete with the Japanese automakers in the midsize sedan market. Part of the launch included the giving away of 100 2013 Ford Fusions. Additionally, the model’s base price has been cut by $1,700 to sit at $27,200 – a good price range for dealer financing.
