Jared Kalfus has been promoted by Black Book to be the vice president of its automotive licensing unit. As vice president, Kalfus will lead the auto-industry data services’ attempts to increase data licensing income to dealers, OEMs, and value-added resellers who the dealer community relies upon.
Saying that he is ready for the challenge, Kalfus said, “I’m looking forward to assuming greater responsibility at Black Book. Through my entire automotive career, I’ve always relied on Black Book’s wide array of vehicle values and related services. We have launched many new products and significantly upgraded our existing ones within the past year, and it’s been really gratifying to see our customers’ reactions when we show them what we can do to help them grow their businesses and work more efficiently.”
The company is pleased with the promotion as well. Talking about Kalfus’s past success and his current mission, Black Book’s president, Tom Cross, said, “Since Jared’s arrival at Black Book, the automotive licensing division has seen significant growth, and continues to branch out in new directions. His team has expanded Black Book’s customer base, developed stronger ties with end users, and worked to provide unique automotive data driven solutions to its partners.”
